What is hot foil imprinting? The imprinting process uses specially designed foils that bond with the album cover using a machine that combines the application of pressure, heat and dwell time. What can I put on my album? The possibilities are almost unlimited - names, dates, titles, quotes or graphics. Where can I imprint on my album? We can imprint on the front, spine or back of the album. What type styles and sizes are available? We offer 3 fonts to choose from. Goudy Cursive is our most popular and is a script font available in 36pt and 24pt fonts. Goudy Light is our print font and is also available in 24pt and 36pt fonts. Typically, the 36pt font is used for titles on the cover and horizontal titles on the spine. The 24pt. may also be used as titles on either the cover or spine. Our News Gothic font is available in 18pt only and is generally used for lower spine labeling of dates and volumes. How many letters can I fit on a line? The number of letters depends on what size text you choose and what location. Letters vary in size, so the maximum characters are approximate. Size 36 can usually have up to 20 characters per line. The 24 pt font can typically have up to 36 characters per line. On the spine, we generally keep the News Gothic lines to 1.5 inches in total width for lower spine labeling. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you prior to imprinting. What color foils are available? We offer a wide variety of foil colors to select from, however, we generally suggest matching any existing border foil color already imprinted on the album. What graphics do you offer? We have a large and unique graphics collection. We offer smaller, one-inch graphics for spines and larger cover graphics. Though we have had clients use the smaller graphics on the covers as well. If you are seeking a specific image that we do not offer, let us know. Can you make a custom graphic? Yes! We can special order an image we do not yet carry or even make a custom graphic with clean black and white artwork or a digital image. Contact us for specific information and pricing. How long will you have my albums? If you are local, we are generally able to imprint albums in 2-5 days. It may be possible to accommodate rush orders. If you are shipping your album, we will email you upon receipt of your album and ship it out within a week. Can you match previously imprinted work? Yes. Include the album coverset you intend to match with your order and we will see if our font sizes, styles, and location measurements match your previously imprinted work. What parts of my albums do you need? Please give us only the parts of the album you intend to be imprinted. Remove all pages and straps. There is a $3 charge to disassemble and reassemble your album. How much will it cost to have my album imprinted?
What is a duplicate line? A duplicate line is a line of text that is exactly the same in text, font, and size that you want imprinted in another location or on another album. What type of payment do you accept? We accept cash (drop-off orders only), check or VISA/MasterCard. Payment due with submission of order. What type of guarantee do you have? We guarantee our imprinting work (spelling, spacing, foil color, etc.). In the unlikely event that and error is made on our part, we will replace the album coverset. If the album coverset is no longer available, a like album will be offered. We are not responsible for any errors made on the order form by the customer. This includes misspelling, capitalization or illegible information provided on the order form. This customer is solely responsible for checking spelling and capitalization on the order form before the form is signed. We guarantee our work on Creative Memories albums and Mrs. Grossman albums. We cannot guarantee the same imprinting quality on every album since there are many manufacturers and different levels of album quality. If we suspect an album will present a problem. We will contact you in advance. Pioneer brand albums cannot be imprinted. What albums can be imprinted? Not all albums are created equal. For the best result, we recommend Creative Memories albums. We do not imprint Pioneer brand or tapestry albums. Leather and leatherette albums can be imprinted. Does this void my Creative Memories lifetime warranty? No. You are entitled to imprint your albums by any service you desire. The Creative Memories guarantee on album manufacturing and parts remains in place. Do you have gift certificates? Yes!
